Complaint Details
I have Tata DOCOMO CDMA Walky no. 65050607. The same is registered in my name.
I took this connection in Feb 2012 as Postpaid Connection from Tata DOCOMO Gallery at Oshiwara, Andheri (West). In Aug 2012, I approached the same Gallery and gave in a request and migrated from Postpay to Prepaid after making a recharge of Rs. 91 and re-submitting the documents for Prepaid as per the guidelines of Mr. Rajiv (Customer Service Executive at Tata DOCOMO Gallery). All the settings were done too for Prepaid in my Walky Instrument.
Few days were fine. Then suddenly my outgoing was disconnected. On enquiring at the same Gallery again, I was been told to re-submit the documents. Might be there was some error last time. I did that to Miss. Sana (Customer Service Executive at Tata DOCOMO Gallery). Few days were fine again. Then I received a SMS from Tata DOCOMO to re-submit the documents once again and the outgoing got disconnected. Again I went to the Gallery and submitted the documents for the third time. This time Miss. Sana gave me an assurance that “This time there will be no problem. In the Past there might be some error with the Back-end team, but this time I will be careful.â€
But to my surprise, my outgoing never started and on top of that my incoming also got inactive somewhere in last week of Sept 2012. I was not aware of this as I was out of station for some time. When I came back and noticed this, I approached the Gallery and had a shock of my life. Miss. Sana told me that my no was disconnected permanently and if I want to retain the same no, I will have to again opt for Postpay and then after three months migrate to Prepay at my wish. There is nothing we can do from here. We don’t have any rights. Or else you can go and complaint the Appellate Authority.â€
Now this was enough I had right from the start. I lost my no, all my business contacts and on top of this if I want the same no, I will have to again start from the scrap with Postpay. I complained to appellate authorities of Tata Docomo and others, but nothing happened. Then saddly i re-visited the same gallery to start my connection in Postpaid as per earlier communication. But i was schocked to know that my no was alloted to someone else and i cannot have the same no again. Then i understood the whole game - Some other customer would have offered you money to buy this no ( as my no is very easy to remember and sounds like VIP no), so they disconnected my line and sold my no to that person.
Where am I at a fault? Why this has been done to me? I did whatever was told to me by the Gallery Executives. Everything was done according to the rules of Tata DOCOMO and their procedures. I re-submitted documents thrice when it was error by Tata DOCOMO and not mine. So why all this. Enough is enough now. I want to know where YOU can help me in this. You get me my same no in Prepaid or Postpaid as soon as possible.
Expecting full cooperation and positive response from your side.
