Complaint Details
We have an Water Purifier from Aquaguard (model ST2000) and have been regularly purchasing the Annual Maintenance Contract. However, the last couple of years, we have seen extremely tardy service from the service agents. This tardiness has extended to the level where they have breached the terms of the contract explicitly. The last renewal was on 16/April/2012 during which time they serviced the equipment. However, as per the terms of the AMC, they are expected to make three service visits a year and no service has been extended since the renewal. We have called the service phone number and the customer care number several times but no resolution has been found. The contract has now expired and we still find ourselves two services short of what we paid for in the service contract. This is a clear violation of the terms of contract. Further, the unit has damaged and is leaking and we still see no response from the terrible customer service team at Eureka Forbes.
With the recent successful claim against IFB, I'm hoping Eureka Forbes will take notice and resolve the issue.
We were planning to replace the unit with a newer model but I dont trust Eureka Forbes any longer. I want to file for breach of contract and claim damages if this is not resolved immediately. I also want a full refund of the last service contract which is clearly unfulfilled.
