Complaint Details
We purchased a white colour new iPhone4 from eBay on Dec 31, 2012 which was delivered to us in mid January 2013. Within 4 months the phone stopped functioning properly and the back panel fell off. While we went through the whole process of telephone and email complaints and follow ups, I was on an official trip to Guwahati and went to an Apple Store to get the phone fixed. When I complained that the phone was not even four months old and was already in pieces, they checked the details via IMEI number. To my total shock, Apple informed us that not only was the phone three years old, it was originally a black phone which had been tampered with and changed to white. They said the original black phone was actually sold in the US in July 2010. Since then we have been chasing ebay for a refund. They asked us for proof which we have provided to them but they now refuse to even acknowledge our emails. We paid the money through PaisaPay on ebay. We have emails detailing correspondence with ebay. Please help us.
