Complaint Details
I was using piped gas from NMC piped gas in my house and always paid regularly for the bills. The
deposit money was also with NMC as part of normal process.
I gave disconnection request in Jan 2013 after speaking to them, and this was through a letter
for disconnection. Nobody cared to respond to that letter.
I called them 3 times in Jan 2013, 2 times in Mar 2013, 3+ times in May
With these calls I was able to get the disconnection done somewhere in Feb-Mar timeframe but to
my surprise had to give another application asking them to refund my deposit back.
This sounded weird as when we get disconnection done, why will they need another application for
just refund of my deposit.
Anyways, even after this application and continuos phone reminders (I spoke to a person named
Sagar who acts as owner of the company) I was just getting false promises from Sagar. He was even
not concerned about way to talk to customer and was very rude. He sometimes even disconnected the
phone without giving any explanation as to why it takes 2-3 months to refund the deposit amount.
He even said words like "mujhe aapse subah baat karke apna din kharab nahin karna"
Overall view
Pathetic company
Works like a government organization
Too much paperwork required for smallest of things
Rude behaviour towards customer
They never even compensated me for wasting my time and efforts and keeping my money with them for
months.
Imagine if they do this to all their customers they earn huge interest on their money and that
works for them.
AVOID THIS COMPANY.
