I bought Whirlpool Whitemagic Washing machine 700H in Nov 2011 from eZONE Pune. This is 7Kg fully automatic washing machine. Here are some low-light of the product
1) The PCB design is so poor and components are so week that it can not sustain a minor voltage fluctuation. Dont get surprised if the service engineer tells you PCB is burned out. My PCB got changed 3 times.
2) The sensor which sense the electrical supply is useless and can burn and get short at any point of time at regular voltage due to which electrical tripping may happen. - I had problem with sensor 2 times
3) Cloths with small sizes can stuck into machine causing rotor jamming - happed 2 times with my machine
4) If top button panel (to be operated by user for every run) is exposed to Sun and rain - can damage the machine and stop functioning - happened 2 times

If i compare the design of Whirlpool Washing machine with any other competitor, its a worst product and you would observe at least 2-3 times failure in a year. On an average the life of the machine is 3-4 years that too with mental harrassment.
KIndly Stay away from Whirlpool washing machine. I spend another 13 thousand to safegaurd the machine by
1) Putting shade for machine to avoid direct Sun and rain Rs 5000/-
2) Rs 2000/- on the Stabilizer
3) Rs 2000/- for Whirlpool washing machine cleaning powder
4) Rs2150/- for extended warranty
5) Rs 1200/- for Base stand

In all - with all these above expenses machine still breaks down at least once in a month or so.
The Authorized service centre head Mr. Nayar (SS Electricals, Pune ) has promised me to replace the machine for the faulty piece. I am waiting for the same if I don’t get the replacement I am going to file a consumer case against Whirlpool - Anybody interested can join me
