I have booked a Ford Ecosport on 14/07/2013.The ex-shoroom price quoted for the model chosen is INR 8.77 lacs.The on road price quoted by the dealer is INR 10.76 lacs which includes INR 34000 for the insurance and also INR 16430 towards additional 3rd year warranty.But I am not interested in opting for the insurance coverage provided by the dealer as it is INR 12000 more than the similar policies provided by other insurance companies.Also I am not keen on the additional warranty too,which is optional and not mandatory.

But the problem is the dealer is coercing me to either opt for the above or will not allot the vehicle.The dealer says that they are acting as per Ford India's instruction, which is not the case as confirmed by the president of the company MR.Joginder Singh when contacted via email.
