Complaint Details
1.I made an online purchase of mobile phone called UMI X2 through my SBI credit card. Made a pre order payment for Rs500/- on 10 May 2013 and on confirmation from the company via sms and mail that my advance booking order has been accepted and that I should make the balance payment and the phone will be delivered in seven working days. I made the balance payment of Rs 13500/-online with my SBI credit card. UMI Mobile India pvt Ltd has neither given a confirmation of the balance payment made by me nor have delivered the phone. The company is also not responding to telephone calls or refund request made to them. There are approximately 12000 customers who have paid the full amount but mobile handsets have not been delivered to them.
