This is with due regard to a purchase completed at your Auchan Supermarket in Oasis Center, Somajuguda,Hyderabad, as of today just a few hours ago. Please find below the details of the purchase :

In the above bill, we have made a purchase of an item named "Gaia Granola Bar" (Choco - Almond Crunch) which was kept as an impulse purchase item at the billing counter. 2 bars for the price of one was on offer for Rs. 30 (Item number 20, item code: 608057 as per the bill)

While we were opening the packets to store the same we were about to consume one of these nutri bars. While feeling the packet we understood it was already in crumbles (not a bar as per product description) and the packet broke open very easily spilling out the contents. We even put a handful in our mouth and it tasted awful. On checking the contents we found that the same was already infected with worms and insects.

I am attaching live video and pictures of the infected content.

Being an international enterprise it is least expected that the super market would store such low grade food articles in their store causing harm and damage to the health of consumers. Please understand the fact that families and children trust and rely on the surety and quality that you promise.

I have written a complaint to the consumer court on the manufacturer and retailer of this product and have requested for immediate action. Complaint letter has been sent to the marketing agency and auchan who has stocked the product.

PLEASE BAN AND RESTRICT retailing of this product with immediate effect.
