I had purcahsed Samsung LED-UA40D6000SR (Black, 40) on July 11, 2011 and in april this year, the right hand corner of LED TV turned black. I made a complaint which was attended to, however to my shock I was told by the engineer that the LED Panel was faulty. More shocking was the amount quoted for replacement i.e Rs 22,000/- with one month warranty only.

I also pointed out a black spot on theleft hand corner of the TV, which was present from the day 1 and I thought it to be a dirt mark. The stickers were also attached in such a fashion that it was impossible to notice. The engineer told me that it could have been faulty from day 1.

It is really sad that you purchase such an expensive LED TV and within 2 yrs have been asked to shellout 22k more. I demand that the panel be replaced free of cost, at the earliest possible, by samsung.
