I just picked up my Dio today and to my chagrin I had to do the first service at 0000 kms by paying INR 330 just to change completely new oil or I was told my warranty would be void.
Honestly Counto does not have any service levels and smacks of complete customer apathy they are just a mercenary outfit looking for quick buck.
The had informed me that they could not assist with the registration of my scooter which I got done on my own and this took me nearly four weeks so when I went for my delivery I noticed that the deadline for the first service was yesterday???
I asked them to change this and they said it CANNOT be done as we raised the invoice on the 29th of June and it's the 25th of July. Then no one tells me that my extended warranty would be VIOD if I did not do my first service today. When I ascertained this for myself I asked them to do it on a brand new scooter and they said I'd have to change the oil and that there's no option but to do this, and that it would cost me INR 350/-, a complete travesty when the world is trying to conserve hydrocarbons and perfectly good oil is being thrown down the drain so that one dealership can make some money. Just appalling here's hoping that vested interests and mercenary attitude don't take precedence over national interests and the environment.
