I applied for a new Reliance Postpaid Combo Broadband Connection (Thunder Combo 549) on 7th June 2013 in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) India

The Salesman Mr. Uday Patel - Contact No. 9558123456 came to my office and got me to fill up the form and took documents and Rs. 1500/- by cheque for one month rent and installation charges. He gave me a receipt which bears the following CAF No. 1780003316692

I was told that installation will happen within 3 - 5 days.

On 21st June 2013, I got a call from Reliance Customer Care that broadband connection to my residence was not possible due to some technical issue.

They mentioned that I'll be refunded the installation & rent charges of Rs. 1500/- by DD sent to my residence within a month. It's been nearly 2 months now and I haven't heard back or received any DD yet.

Pathetic Service by Reliance Communication and their Customer Care is hopeless. Despite several complaints to their customer care, they just say your complaint has been escalated and never give a complaint number. The salesman's number is usually busy or not reachable.

It's ironical their name is "Reliance". Should change it to "Never Rely on us".
