Complaint Details
I was allured and entrapped by snapdeal.com through online advertisement to buy mobile phone of the company Micromax, A101 amounting Rs.9999/-
I fell prey to their advertisement and placed an Order No. 974678291 for home delivery of the above mentioned product.
The above mentioned mobile phone was delivered at my residence on 5th May 2013 after receiving the payment.
After the delivery of the mobile phone i opened the parcel and checked the functions/features of the mobile phone. However, i was shocked to note that the video recording function was not working properly. The exact problem with the device was that a sound like beep was constantly coming in each video that was recorded even when there was no sound in the environment.
I immediately brought the matter to company's notice through e-mail as well as through telephone.
Their representative visited my residence and took over the mobile phone with the promise that either the mobile phone would be replaced or the error would be rectified within the period of three days.
the company acknowledged the receipt of the product and assigned my complaint a ticket no. 2065690
They assured me that their team would get back to me very soon but nothing such happened.
Thereafter i contacted repeatedly over the phone as well as through the mail and requested either to rectify the error in the device i.e. mobile phone or replace it but they kept on promising that the needful would be done soon. However, nothing was done even after passing considerable time period.
on 30th June 2013 i again reminded them and requested to deliver the mobile phone to me but they did not do so and continued their dilly-dallying attitude.
after sometime, they stopped answering my phone calls and e-mails.
They have willfully and deliberately delivered the faulty mobile phone to me in illegal and malafide manner with the intention to usurp my hard earned money.
Today is 30th july and 3 months have been passed since i made the payment but i have not received my product.. I am very upset and stressed.. Please help me and take some actions against them.
