Complaint Details
Dear Sirs,

In May we made a reservation at the Sheesh Mahal in Orchha, to stay from 26-28 Dec'13 at their Maharaja Suite. We fully paid for the room at the time of booking. Today we received an email from a person called Ambica Govila writing on behalf of INDIAN HOLIDAY PVT. LTD, demanding a supplemental payment of INR 1,600 "as soon as possible to enable us to pay for the hotel". This is clearly a breach of the convened tariff at the time of booking. Evidently, we made our selection of accomodation based on rates and availability. We consider this request to be bad business practice. We have never encountered a situation of the sort in any country in the world. The hotel's behaviour is fraudulent, unprofessional and generally embarassing for the reputation of lodging establishments in India.
Please take the necessary measures to correct these unprofessional practices. They give a bad perception to visitors.

PS.- We are not residents of India, therefore, we could not fill out our information on this page properly. We live in Mexico and will visit India in Dec '13.
