I found dark spots in the camera app of my phone & manufacturing defect (also on camera(hardware)) after 3days of purchase. Since i was not at kolkata(was at siuri,birbhum,west bengal, pin-731101) i couldn't go to the service center as the nearest service location was around 250km from that place, so i emailed to HTC Care regarding this issue and got a reply to my email on 19th of june. i have followed the steps , told by them but the problem was still there, so i have been told to submit the device at the service center on 23th of june via email. but, i told earlier, it was impossible for me to go to the center as it was too far from my location. After that, finally i came back to the city and headed to the center and they said all issues i told them is correct(the phone has manufacturing defect), so i had to submit the phone on 5th of june 2013. i have been told that it will take 7-10 days.
after the mentioned date, i calling the center but nobody was receiving the calls, so after trying a lot o times, i went to the center, but they told it will take more time.from that day i am continuously call HTC India Help Line & The Service Center,but nobody is helping & they are giving me fake deadlines. its been 30days now i feel helpless, frustrated, cheated.
The company's replacement policy is 14days, but as i told its difficult for me to go to the care location cause there is only one service center in entire west bengal. but i have reported my problem via email within 14days and the service center also verified that my problems are true( manufacturing defect) though the company is not taking any actions, as its their fault, not the costumer's. they are saying i am not able to get a replacement and i have to wait for the repair. i dont get one thing, if a consumer is late by only 3-4days, its late, but when the company is taking 30days of time, its not late. am not eligible to get a replacement for htc's own fault(manufacturing defect) but they can do whatever they want with the customer. i feel cheated.
so far i have been harassed, wasted my time and patience and money also, rs43000 is not a joke at all. 30 days without a phone is frustrating.
i call for or aid and strict action to be taken against HTC in this regard.
