Complaint Details
I have a FIAT Linea which has run 83,000 kms and is completely stalled because of Engine problem and as per the service center my engine needs to be replaced at a cost of 1.5 lacs Rupees.
I have extended warranty but the warranty is void as service was not done at 60K kms.
My scheduled services were on 3k, 15k, 30k, 45k, 60k, 75 k and 90k. All services were done and have documents of the same. I took my car for servicing at 59308 kms to to Lexus motors, Kolkata workshop for servicing. Here they had changed what ever was required and billed me 17k for the same. But I was told by FIAT that those were running repairs and that is not included within scheduled service. But I had taken the car for servicing and they did change parts as per the schedule. It was their fault that they did not service it properly and also did not mention scheduled service in the bills.
I cannot be blamed for they not mentioning some in their bill. I had taken the car to their service centre in all good belief that it will be serviced, which they had not done.
Am a surgeon working in a govt. hospital in west bengal. I am really troubled and me and my patients are suffering for this.
