COMPALINT OF SERIOUS NATURE

I have, on my e mail I'd, received the appended mail, the contents of which are self explicit. I consider this as violation of SBI act and hence as Chairman of the bank you are called upon to make clarification on the following points immediately. Be noted that if you fail to reply, I reserve my right to move the matter under RTI by paying prescribed fee of Rs.10/-

A. Provide me copy of SBI act permitting branches to make such kind of advertisement through e mail

B. Provide me copy of SBI act permitting branches to MISUSE the e mail I'd of customers (in this case it has been sent to all NRI customers in the world) for such kind of advertisement

C. Provide me copy of request made by NRI customer (on whose behalf the mail has been sent) requesting bank to do so

D. Provide me copy of permission obtained, if any, by NRI branch for circulating such advertisement through e mail

E. Provide me copy of terms and conditions between bank and that NRI customer in this regard meaning the commission will be paid to SBI on sale and charges for this advertisement etc etc

I can add many more such point but at present above are Vey CRITICAL AND SERIOUS one.

I am sure the desired priority will be accorded by you as Chairman of the bank in this regard.
