My son Master Clyde Fernandez travelled on 3rd Aug, 2013 by Jet Airways flight no.9w-2814, pnr: LWQPFI, ticket no.5893962406178 from trivandrum to delhi. He had a baggage of 18 kgs. The staff at the air-port told him that he had an excess of 3 kgs. (even though the allowed wt. mentioned in the ticket was 20 kghs.) and charged him Rs.750/- for excess baggage. The child was scared and borrowed the money from a co-passenger and paid up.
This is totally unacceptable and request you to intervene and get an apology and a suitable compensation from them so that they do not do this to anybody else. Their reference no. is BOM/JKQ/SM/050813/8388462
