Complaint Details
I was having a Morphy Richards steam iron - Mirage (2000 W)[Product No. S109B011040101451] The Iron was not in warranty period. Its SPANDRAL got damaged and needed replacement. Complaint No. 1020A dated 29.01.2011 was lodged for the same. After repeated chasing, I was told, after three weeks, that since the iron is an old model, its parts were no longer available, so I need to get a new iron in replacement at 40% discount on the MRP and process would take a week's time. I applied for the same and deposited the iron with the service center, namely M/S Pant Services, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. It is already more than a month and I am yet to get the new iron I opted for.
In the process I was in regular touch with Morphy Richards's executives namely Mr. Navin and Mr. Shashi Ranjan, but to no benefit.
