Hi..my name is Vanjyotsna & i stay in Undri Pune. I joined this gym in Undri and on Aug 4th, i registered myself for personal training with a trainer named Amar.

Since we already had a family vacation coming up on Aug 20th to Aug 30th, I told my trainer that I wud need to take a break of 10 days during these dates. He said- no problem, just tell the reception guys when u submit the money.


I did the same. I submitted the money & told “Fatima” on reception that I will need to take a break on these 10 days. She said- ok.

Now, on Aug 9th, my maid ( we live in a nuclear family here-myself, my husband & my 3 year old son) went absconding, so I cud not have gone to the gym leaving my 3 year old child alone at home, so I went to the gym with a hand-written application saying that- I have an emergency at home & I will not be able to attend the gym till Aug 15th.

Amar, my trainer took the application & I had to imm run home, but a guy on the gym’s reception told me- Sir se baat karni padegi isake baaren mein, I said – ok do that & I imm had to rush home.

On Aug 12th, somehow leaving my child with a fren, I went to the gym for my personal training, but Aug 13th onwards, I cudnt, so I went to the gym on Aug 14th and told Amar- to prepone my break & put a pause to my training days from Aug 15th to Aug 30th, instead of 20th to 30th, which was already given to me.

Amar told me to speak to the boss, a man named Ravi & I haven’t met a man so manipulative & so rude in my life.


He straightway told me a couple of things- “ Madam, u r lying. Nobody on the reception agreed that they wud give u a break from Aug 20th to Aug 30th.


I was so shocked that I asked him to call that girl (their I came to know that her name was Fatima). She came to his office & straightaway REFUSED that I had told her about my training break. & so did Amar lied about everything he had promised me about the flexibility he wud give me or anybody training with him.

He called me a liar & told me that – we cant give u any break. U come back from ur holiday, sign up for another month’s training & over the next few months, we will see what we can do about ur 10 days leave. Rest ur call, u want to come to the gym or not.

This meant, that in Rs 4000, I only got 4 sessions from Aug 4th to Aug 9th. That’s it!!

Also, wud need to mention that my husband & another fren also sighed up for personal training with Amar between Aug 4th & 9th, so in total I gave him a business of Rs 12000 (4000 per PT).


I m not filing this complaint for my husband’s amount but from that day, he has also not gone to the gym & he also was on vacation with me, which means he will also not get his sessions, so in total, we have lost Rs 8000.

What I want is the gym to refund my money- 4000 minus the cost of 4 sessions the trainer has taken.

Please Help.
