I have purchased Avengers DTSI220 Bike from Sonai Bajaj, Indapur (Authorised sales service and spares dealer of Bajaj Auto) in July2012.
Few months back its speedometer stopped working. When I took it to the dealer they told the speedometer cable is broken and must be replaced. But it was not available. I told the spares guy to order and get it. I was told that I'll get it in a weeks time. But I didn't! It happened for five weeks. Finally I had to get replaced from pune. For a spare costing aroung 160rs. I had to spend 700 rs on petrol to take the bike to pune.
Afterwards I needed a chain lubrication spray which is made mandatory to use for lubrication over traditional lubrication oil. It was still not available here. I had to buy it from Baramati. Again for 159rs spray I had to spend 350rs.
Now the disc break oil pipe is broken and all the break fluid is drained. When I went to the dealer here in Indapur they told me its not available. Rear break pads not available.
Now my bike for which I spent 86000rs is laying at my backyard as there are no breakes.
When I said to the dealership employees that why do they sell the models when they can't provide spares ( cruicial ones like breakes.) The service personnel were very rude while talking. And said that I have no right to hold them responsible for this. And I should nit talk to them regarding this. I tried to meet General Manager about this but he was never available.
After on 29th Aug 2013 I lodged a grievance complaint on Bajaj Auto Complaints Portal with detail description but what I got was only the auto generated e-mail.
I reminded the company through email twice. Today again same reply the have given by mail which says-

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have already forwarded your concern to the concern authority for further course of action & update on same.

How long am I supposed to wait for the spares?? How long should I go to pune for very minute problems of the bike??? Neither the dealer nit the company seems to be interested in resolving my problem. I hope you people will help me in this issue.
Bajaj Garuntees service and spares through their authorized dealer network but it is not done.
I have all the copies of communication done to Bajaj Auto Ltd.
The customer complaint is CR-135440
pls help.
