Complaint Details
I am a member of the Country Club, Kasba Unit, Kolkata. When I became a vacation member about an year back, I did so primarily to avail the facilities of the Club as promised by them. They promised a Gym, Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Bar, Swimming Pool on the Terrace, SPA, Guest Rooms, Games Room for Children etc. For this we have to pay arond Rs 2,900/- as maintenance fees per annum in addition to the subscription Fees. Despite repeated assurances, till date no facilities have been provided except the Gym. It is now clear that the Company, after collecting large one time subscription sums from the members has left them in the lurch. They have now even sent me the reminder for annual maintenance fees which will be due shortly. I do not understand as to why I should pay this maintenance fee ? Maintenance for what ? The above facts may be corroborated from any other member of that Club in Kasba, Kolkata.
