Complaint Details
We purchased a coffee table and side table set from Lifestyle's Home Centre's Ghatkopar outlet (1641) on 15-08-2013 and paid the ENTIRE amount of Rs 25,975 in advance on the same date.

2. The invoice Number for the above mentioned purchase is 1179245 and Cust ID was marked as 016415058163 and time stamp was 17.52.11.206.

3) We were promised Delivery on 5th Sept, at the time of purchase.

4) No delivery happened on 5th. Worse, none of your persons answered the phone calls nor replied to repeated calls.

5) After many repeated calls, we were told that Home-Centre deliveries to Navi Mumbai happen only on Wednesday. Even if this was the case, we were not informed about the same till as late 6th Sept.

6) Since the furniture was required for Ganesh Chathurti Celebrations on 9th, we tried to prevail and finally one person named Prashant cell number 08451049030 responded and promised to try delivery on 8th. (We found Prashant the only somewhat reasonable person in the entire outfit).

7) The Delivery did happen on 8th at abt 1530 hrs. However, to our utter shock and dismay, we were informed that assembly will not be done by the same crew and in-fact this will be done by a separate crew at a later unassigned date.

8) In effect on 8th Sept the only thing that was achieved by Home Centre was to put unopened cardboard boxes in my house, thus only littering the house and making it look shabby and un-welcome for the Ganesh Chathurti celebrations on the next day.

9) We were informed that one Parkar cell number 08879556657 is responsible for carpentry and assembly . However, he did not pick up phone in-spite of repeated attempts.

10) In nutshell, here is our situation: In-spite of having paid in full as early as 15th Aug,we were kept in dark about the delivery till the end, (with no answer to calls) and finally when it happened, came a shocker that the delivery means only dumping cardboard boxes with no definite date for Assembly.

11) We are frustrated and disappointed with this casual and absolutely unprofessional approach by Home- Centre. Please note is has ruined our Ganapati celebrations.

12) We wish to state that we bought some other furniture from the rival store from their outlets at same Ghatkopar itself and their service was just impeccable and deserved a praise.

13)Worse, the emails sent to them are bouncing back. We hope this mail is not duly discarded in Home Centre's trash bin and that somebody senior enough up wakes up, takes cognizance of this indifferent attitude and gets back to us.
