Dear mam,

I am a gayathri, a medical student from Porur. I have been a member and a frequent visitor of Green Trends salon, valasarawakam. Recently I got a hair cut done done from the same centre. They charged me Rs 550 (member price+ tax) = Rs 618.
But whatever they have done to my hair is not at all worth the money I paid. I especially asked the lady not to cut short my length. I asked for a U Cut and she went on with doing something to my hair. Also she charged me under the ‘change of style’ category.The explanation given to me was that she tried to remove all the splits. Further she argued that she did everything with my acceptance. Pls tell how would a person look at her back without being shown properly.You advertise as customer satisfaction is you prime goal but I don’t understand why do you have trained professionals who are well versed in haircuts. I am totally disappointed with your service. Not only that the areas are not at all clean. This time for a haircut they took me to a VIP room wherein the place is worst than the normal salon area.
This not the only service I got... I am being a member and visitor from past a year to your salon and whenever I come in there would be some issues. If you get waxing done they will not even check the wax is hot or whether the customer would be able to bear the heat. They burned my hand last 3 months back. Eyebrow was done by Ms. Preity, she further toiled my eyebrows in spite of telling her not to make it thin.
When the staffs want to do whatever their want then what is the value you give to your customers’ words.
I have bared all these for such a long time and this time as my staff Mr. Deva was on leave, they handed me over to another lady who literally spoiled everything. Moreover there was a race of words between two girls. First Ms. Preity took me in accepted to do further she got in some call and said me bluntly that she couldn’t do. She further arranged another women and she is literally untrained. Before starting up I asked whether she is a hair stylist/ for which she said there is no one such as hair stylist in green trends.
I don’t understand what value you give to your customers. I seriously came up to green trends expecting I would get a good work from you guyz. But I am literally worried now.
Being a student rather than worrying about my hair, I am worried about my parents’ hard earned money which I wasted on this.
I request you to kindly look into this matter and definitely don’t encourage these kinds of activities.
I am going to put forward this complaint to the consumer forum and would take this decision if no compensation made.
