I am Gaurav Barot. I had three Tata Walky post-paid numbers (6454398, 6454268, 6453632) clubbed into one single account. I used it for 3-4 years and when I got shifted from Nagpur to Ahmedabad, they told me I can only get them disconnected (terminated) from any of Nagpur Tata Docomo center. When I visited Nagpur last month, I duly visited Nagpur Tata Docomo Center at Utkhana Road, Nagpur – paid my outstanding and gave them all the documents they needed for disconnection. They said the walkys would be disconnected within 5-6 days. After I returned to Ahmedabad, I found out that only of one Walky has been processed for disconnection, contrary to what I said at the Nagpur Docomo center. I called Docomo call-center, told my predicament and they took my complaint and told me that all the three numbers will be terminated (disconnected) within 5-6 days. Two weeks have passed and my numbers are still not terminated. Today (6th September) they told me to get in touch with the center where I submitted the termination request earlier. So, it was all back to square one. And painfully so!



Now, my question is - who is going to foot the bill the account generated this month? Why there is so much complexity in getting our account terminated? Is the process purposely kept complex? Why they issue new Walkys and post-paid sim within 2-3 days and termination takes such a treacherously long time?



I think Tata Docomo’s service sucks big time. There is no respite to their customers who want their accounts closed?



Is anyone from Docomo listening? If my grievance is not addressed within a day or two, I am going to file a case against them at Consumer Court.
