Complaint Details
I purchased one Micromax Canvas HD handset on 28th July 2013. Within 15 days of Purchase of the handset, I started facing problem. I submited my handset at SAI ELECTRONICS (Authorised Service Centre of Mumbai) for service. Job Sheet No is W030574-0813-4947135 (Job Sheet Attached)
I tried many time to talk to the service centre on provided contact no on Job Sheet. But my call was not answered for a single time also and I didnt get any reply on mail also. I called on Micromax Customer No on 31-August-2013, and I was told that my handset will be ready by 10th September 2013. Again I called on 04-Sept-2013 to check about the update status and I was told as It will be ready by maximum 10 days. Complaint No is 3108132397

on 10th September morning I called to the customer care again. But it really surprised to know that to repair my handset It will take maximum 20 days more. I asked for the contact details of any Nodal Officer of Mumbai but No one provided the same.
I took my handset with 12 months warranty but from 16th August it is in service center only and it will take 20 days more. What will be the use this 12 months warranty period, if 1.5 months it will be in service centre only and who knows that this handset will work fine for rest of the period.

I wanted to raise this issue with the Nodal officer of the Micromax but they are not ready to provide the contact details. I wrote a mail with all details but still they are not providing me any specific solution. (copy of mail is attached)
Yesterday i wrote to the organisation with follwing 3 options instead of waiting 20 days more.
1. To provide my handset in proper working condition within 3 days with extention of 1 month warranty OR
2. Provide me new handset of same model no as a replacement of old one with 12 months warranty. OR
3. Give My money back

But they didnt provide any solution out of the above mentioned options. Now I would not like to wait more for the handset.

I will prefer to collect a New handset as a replacement of the old one with full 12 months warranty OR Cash back.

Thanks in advance to relief me by providing a new handset as replacement Or arrange to give cash back. Please let me know, if u need anything else from my side.
