Complaint Details
1.I was sold a Lenovo laptop by luring me to the store under the pretext that it was the last day for their concessional sale for accessories which was a complete lie that I discovered later.
2.On discovering no audio output I went immediately to the store and insisted a replacement. They experimented with my laptop for five hours and finally declared that the laptop needs to be repaired.
3.They asked me to contact the Lenovo people for resolving my problem.
4.Along with the laptop I was forced to buy an Antivirus by threatening that if I did not buy immediately then my laptop will definitely crashdown. I was compelled to buy one even when an antivirus was already installed in my laptop.
5.On repeatedly insisting that the store should take the initiative to contact Lenovo, they finally did.But the laptop was refreshed by the store which removed the antivirus and they did not bother to reinstall it.
6.I was told that they would visit my residence within two days, but they reached on the fifth day.
7.As a result I was unable to go to work during that interval.
8.My laptop got finally repaired by Lenovo but they informed me not to reload the antivirus removed as one is already installed.
9.I demanded a refund for the Antivirus explaining that no information was provided to me that the box should be preserved as it is the only place for the activation code.I did not want reinstallation but a refund of my money. To this they haven't paid any heed despite more than 200 phone calls and numerous visits.I stiil want refund and compensation for the harassment that I have undergone immediately after sale.
