I am an ordinary citizen of India, residing at Cochin and availing INDANE household cooking gas services from Ajoy Gas Agency.

It is extremely disturbing to bring to your notice that after booking, gas cylinder is being delivered at my home after a span of 50 days. Earlier it was 30 days, then it dragged on to 45 and now its close to 50 days. For a family of four members, it is virtually impossible to survive on a single cylinder for that many days.

Upon enquiry of the same, i was told by the staff of Ajoy Gas that there no cylinders for distribution and they even went on to tell me that henceforth i should book only after waiting for 15 days. I just don't understand the logic behind all this. Out of desperation, i tried to get a Spic Jyothi gas connection and asked the delivery boy of Ajoy Gas if he knows the nearest Spic Jyothi outlet. To this the delivery boy confided that there is no need to go for another connection and that he will bring me the cylinder if i agree to pay him 200 rupees extra. I agreed to do so because i was desperate. For the past 2 months i have been paying him this extra amount to get cylinders but he has refused to give me the receipt. When i enquired he blatantly replied that it is not possible to give receipt.

Such unscruplous practices by the staff of Ajoy Gas is tarring the name of INDANE. The problem is not insufficiency of cylinders but the greed to make an extra buck.

Please look into the matter or else i will be forced to intimate the media about this.
