I was using GPRS plan 3GB GPRS Free thereafter 30p/20KB With Rental of Rs.198 on my postpaid number 8800100223. Within 15 days in my billing cycle, I crossed the 3gb usage limit on 11th Sep, 2013.
On 12th Sep, 5am I came to know that the data services are not working on my number. I confirmed the same by putting the SIM in multiple mobiles. I supposed that the gprs plan which I use might no longer be valid so I thought of changing it to 3g plan.
I called the customer care and asked them to change my plan to 125 Rs, 1gb free plan. But still my internet services did not resumed. So I called them again and came to know that due to high usage my services are already blocked and I would have to clear the outstanding to activate the internet.
I decided not to pay the outstanding and waited for the bill.
On 26th Sep, I received the bill which to my amazement had done calculation taking into account both 3gb and 1gb plan on pro rata basis.
My question is how can a plan be changed for a service which is already stopped on the mobile. And further how can a billing be affected by it?
Further to this, the detailed bill showed the data usage throughout the night of 26 Aug and 1 Sep. This is not possible as I keep my cell switched off during the night. This error has further increased my data usage.
Due to these miscalculation, my billed amount is Rs.27402.74/- payable by 15 October 2013. None of my previous bills exceeded Rs 500 in last two years.
Please correct this mistake in billed amount.
