Complaint Details
I had purchased a Karbonn mobile, Titanium S5 from online store - homeshop18. Order was placed on August 09, 2013 and delivered on August 12, 2013 at my Pune residence. When I checked the mobile after switching it on, I found that the screen use to vibrate vigorously and continuously. I immediate conveyed the issue to homeshop18 team on which they advised to submit the handset to the company service center. I approached Reliable Enterprises located at Akurdi, Pune which is a service center of Karbonn. They told me it was a software issue, and returned the handset after 3 days. When I reached home I found that the same issue persisted. Therefore after a few days I contact the same service center, but this time they refused to accept the handset stating that the IMEI No. is not registered with their system which I think is their own internal record keeping issue and not mine. The only option left was to talk to Karbonn's customer care, after dialing and mailing frantically, finally a customer care - Yogita Nautiyal responded and advised to submit the handset to the same service center, I kept a cc of the mail to Reliable Enterprises and finally they acceded to take the handset with much reluctance. I submitted the handset on 13/09/2013, but till now there is no clue from the service center on the date of delivery and they are putting the ball on the company's court saying that they can't do anything until the company sends the parts and that it might take a month or more than that. I am writing frequently to the company also but without any progressive response. Both are playing blame game, I have started thinking that it's an organised way or looting the customers of their money, and besides if you go to any Karbonn service center, you will find the same kind of heavy rush on their counter and I am one of them. I don't ever came across a company who keep its customer waiting for about a month to provide service. Please help me to get my money back from this fraud company. I will be be ever thankful to you.
