Hi team
I am facing an issue with exide batteries and unable to get any response/replacement from the company, can you please look into this and help me. The facts of the case are as under:
I have purchased an exide battery for my car (Santro) from Satguru batteries, Ashok Vihar in June 2013. The battery started to give trouble in April 2015 (within the replacement guarantee period of 2 years). I intimated the company and their executive came to my home and said that there is an issue with the battery & the fitment and asked me to contact the exide service centre or to the dealer from whom I have purchased the battery for replacement/checking despite the guarantee covering at home replacement (mail can be forwarded if required). Since the exide service centre was far from my house, I contacted the dealer, he told me that the battery is fine and just discharged and asked me to get the battery charged, which I have done. But again after 1.5 months, it started to give trouble. When I contacted the dealer again, he said that there is problem with the battery and since now the replacement guarantee period has expired, I have to purchase a new battery.
Can you please help and look into this and get me a replacement and avoid any unnecessary hassles to me and my family.
