Hi, don't know is this is the right place to highlight a concern abt parking issues in worli village, Mumbai.. Searched a lot to raise a complain.. Finally found this forum to pass d message forward..

I would not like to disclose my name I'm from worli village Mumbai.. We have a lot of parking issues in our area, but recently there's a empty plot which is rumoured abt it being under the hands of BMC.. Coz initailly the plot had a muncipal school which was demolished in year 1995.. N ever since it's been an empty plot.. The plot as far as to my knowledge belonged to Dr bhaye n Dr malpani.. Who r brothers.. But due to their family dispute the plot was never looked after.. Der were cases which were ongoing in d court but recently heard of it going into hands of BMC as the landlords had lost d case..
This plot initailly had a gate which broke..so many ppl as they heard of the plot being under BMC started parking their cars in d compound N den later the gate was built up as the plot was given out for lease for a short period of time to construction site so that they cud unload their construction material as in worli next to d seaface near d small port where d fishermen park their boats there is a new building built up to install a water refining machine.. So to my knowledge the gate was built up by the constructing project operation head to d plot.. N now it's been approx 8 months dat the plot is no more used as I believe their lease period is over.. So as the land was vacant ppl started parking thier cars again.. But den later mr Sunil kamble a person from the political party MNS( Maharashtra navnirman sena) started locking d gates n asked ppl to take their car out of plot as BMC is gonna start sum construction work from d next day( which ideally was a lie) .. So everybdy out of courtesy took thier cars out of d plot.. N it's been over a month dat no works have started n mr kamble parks his n his family members cars in dat plot n locks d gates which ideally is wrong as he is not even from BMC n he is also not d person who is been given the possession of that land.. Basically he is taking an illegal possession of that land.. On asking him as to y does he locks d gates the answers that he gives is "Muje jo sahi lagta hai wo me karunga, agar tuje koi problem hai toh ja Aur complain kar ye jagah Teri nahi hai" so all we residents of worli village wud like Sumone to look into this matter n as d cops here r only to take bribe.. As der have been a few complaints abt this.. But no solution to it.. So wud like to involve press into this.. N help us.. As me kamble what he is doin is wrong n is inconvenient for us to find parking spaces for our cars.. If d land belongs to BMC.. We r ready to pay a sort of rent so dat the place can b utilised for parking purpose atleast rather than Sumone from political party showing off his unwanted rights on dat land..
