sir, i placed an order for a sony home theater system bearing order no.
1289865307 on 28.9.2013. it was a prepaidorder of more than Rs 42000. it was supposed to be delivered by 6 october. i was receiving updates from gati, the courier service till 2 october, for docket no. 517151986 when at 22.45 hrs. i received an update via sms that the consignment has reached kolkata. then upto 5th, there were no updates. after i did not receive the delivery by 7th, i wrote to snapdeal via e-mail, to have no response. then i wrote to snapdeal again on the following day to have no reply again. frustrated, i caleed the gati customer care at 18001804284 on 9th october. but every time i called, i was kept waiting frustratingly, for 15/20 minutes, saying that, all customer service agents are busy. then after 5 attempts, when i managed to get through, they apologized for the inconvenience and promised a delivery within 24 hours and received a complaint no.11699205 by sms. in the meanwhile, i had written to gati too, and received a complaint no CS61729. amazingly, gati and snapdeal managed to falter on their promises. then on 11th i called up gati again only to receive an assurance of 24 hours again, and there was no response from snapdeal.
sir, i know i have managed to make a big mistake in placing an order for a considerable amount of money prepaid. but i now seek your help to get my desired product delivered to me at the earliest
