Complaint Details
Dear Mr. Naresh Goyal,
I am writing this mail to you and marking the other authority and your staff just because there is no help coming my way to solve the smallest of the problem I have faced today. As jet claims its service is the bestest in the airline sector and me being a regular traveller with your airline, IT FAILED ME TODAY and I am really disappointed about the same.
This is what happened and why your customer service / airport managers and other systems are not customer friendly as they used to be…
I checked in your flight to Cochin from Bangalore [flight no 9W 2731] at 11:15 today, while at the check-in counter I was asked for an ID proof and the ticket. I handed over my cell phone for the ticket verification and my International Driving licence as a valid ID proof. Not realizing that I did not have my ID proof back or if it was left at the desk, I left the counter to board the flight. Upon arriving at Cochin I realized that I had forgotten to take back the ID card or I just left it at the counter. I informed the same to your on-board staff, she promptly tried to call the duty officer from the aircraft in Bangalore and the phone was unreachable.
At Cochin airport I informed the same to your staff on duty and also asked if i must give a written complaint of the same. I was told there is no need for the same, instead I was given the number of the duty manager in Bangalore and said i could speak to them and they will do the needful and help me out. The number being 09986038339. I called on the given number and I explained my problem to the lady on the other end and I got a reply that she was in a meeting and will call me back, the call was made around 12:45, its 23:51 now and I have not yet got a call back [instead of me calling her several times in the day] from the duty manager as she doesn’t think, me losing or misplacing my International License is not cause of worry for her and her team at Bangalore airport.
Mr. Goyal, I just want your staff to view the Video surveillance systems and find out what actually happened at the check-in counter in the morning. Is this such a difficult task?? Does it require such a big protocol for a common man to know what happened to his lost / misplaced item??
Hope you will guide your team to look into this matter at the earliest and I wish to get a positive reply after a through investigation about my missing / misplaced International Licence from your check-in counter at Bangalore.
