The DM convertors located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat promote work from home services to people of all ages. They asked me to pay Rs. 5000 in exchange for filling up 2000 forms in 15 days, for which I will be paid Rs. 40,000 at the end of 15 days,which is Rs. 20 per form. Like many others I took up on the task to do it. I was so eager to finish it early and get paid soon, and I did finish early. I started my work with DM convertors on the 5th June, and my work was supposed to be submitted by the 20th June. Gladly, I finished it on the 19th June. I then waited several days for them to submit payment, but that day never came. When i tried to contact them via email they told me that all that I did was incorrect. I immediately opened up the portal where i was supposedly doing my form filling work, and clicked on a tab that said "view report", it showed me something quite shocking. It said 1999 out of 2000 forms filled were wrong! i was shocked and felt cheated. I immediately contacted them and asked them for a second round of verification. I also asked my sister, who lives in India, to be in touch with the DM convertors. I appointed her as a guardian to handle this matter because i live in Canada. She spoke to the person at this company who comforted her by telling that the business is legit and such a thing has never happened before and it was the first time. Days went by but nothing came to light. I kept sending them emails but i never got any response. This morning on 30th July, 2015, i get an email from a typing institute in Ahmedabad who also have a tie-up with DM Convertors, asking me to pay rs.1000 for a verification. He asked me to pay it up and warned me by saying its my "last chance" to get paid. I reverted back saying i refuse to pay anything anymore. I also found a consumer forum site where several other people have been duped by DM convertors and were not paid. I think there is a strong cause of fraud here and I am willing to proceed with suing this company that they claim to be a Registered business.
I have the proof of several email conversations that i exchanged with them but sadly i have no proof of the forms filled. I couldn't download them during the time i was working for them because it was confidential. But i am sure they have every proof in their servers.
