I have connected with Mr Prabhakar who is a real estate agent for helping me find a suitable house. The terms of the engagement was Rs 500 as registration and 50% of one months rent as brokerage. After many failed attempts he and his associate should me a house. It was the same house for which i was in touch with the owner whom i had contacted from an online portal. This i came to know only after the broker had showed me the house. Since i was already in touch with the owner i directly connected with the owner and mutually agreed for the rental agreement. After which i agreed to pay 25% of the monthly rental as brokerage as i was already planning to see the house. But the agent started harassing me for full amount. As a real estate agent he was supposed to do all the paper work and help me settle in the house, which he has done nothing and is now harassing me for the money.
