Below is the entire case of Mr RP Singh against raavihospital pathankot. We have sent the following mail to them, still they are adamant in doing the right thing. Mr R P Singh was admitted in your hospital on18 may 2015 under Dr Kayum Khan, neurologist. Please find the attached documents in which your neurologist has prescribed extremely strong warfarins like acitrom, ecosprin which require continuous monitoring of INR level. While no such thing was suggested by the dr about monitoring of the same neither verbally nor in written. On 03 June the patient came for a follow up to the dr and the INR level was found to be 1.3, however the same medicines were increased in a dosage which led to an increase in INR to the order of 9, thus causing a peril to the patients life. Patient had to undergo an immediate surgery at fortis, Ludhiana. The present condition of the patient is that due to the negligence of your dr his left limbs are non functional.. On being taken up the case to your administration, they behaved in a couldn't careless way. I suppose that we owe an explanation to such an act of your administration causing threat to patients life. We definitely would like to bring this issue across the consumer court officially.
