Dear SIr,

My Name is Mamta Mehta and I Had opened a YES bank account having zero balance facility.

My customer ID is:587154
My bank ac no: 016393600000405

First of all they did not opened my account with the nearest branch( which is borivali) and it was opened with vile parle branch.( another town in Mumbai about 10KMs far from my home).

I was promised that I will get a Zero balance account and I do not have to maintain regular balance of Rs.1000.00 for a normal saving account.

After using the bank account for more than 1 year, they have started deducting 750.00 from my saving bank account saying I have not maintained the required balance of RS.5000.00.

On this act , I decided to surrender the bank account and i asked to get it closed.

for closing the bank account they charged us Rs.100.00 which was also another shock to us.

Today on 07.11.2013 they returned us our balance amount in form of DD ( issued and couriered to my home address by borivali west , mumbai branch).

Therefor I request you to help me getting the amount which was deducted by YES bank which is clear case of improper banking practice as such charges are never levied to any zero balance account across india as per the rules of RBI.
