This is regarding : (1) the wrongly hiked bill amount in the bill dated 7th March 2015 – 6th April 2015, where I was charged Rs.1900 extra, over and above my plan + add-on data pack and (2) the change in my current plan from RED 899 to a normal 300 PLAN without my permission or request.
1. On 19th March 2015, I had sent in a request to Vodafone asking them for an add-on data plan pack for the month of March, as I had already exhausted the permitted data limit of my monthly plan. I had received an SMS from Vodafone confirming that it has been processed. (I still have the SMS with me).
On 23rd March 2015 I was informed by the call centre that there had been no add-on pack activated on my mobile number. On informing them that I had put in a request on 19th March 2015 and had received a message from Vodafone saying the services had already been processed, and if they haven’t activated the add-on inspite of the confirmation, it’s an error on their part and why should I pay extra Rs.1900 for an error made by vodafone.
They registered my complaint (Registration Number 1692735768). I was informed that the add-on pack is now active and they requested me to call up after receiving the March bill (to be received by me on 7th April 2015), and reversal would be done from Vodafone without any hassle at all. I asked them if they had registered the error made by them, they said it had been noted and would reflect in my next month’s bill, after I call them in April.

Now I have also been informed they have changed my plan from RED 899 to normal 300 or 399 PLAN and claim I had requested for the same on aug 12th. I had made no such requests. This also means an unusually high bill.
