Complaint Details
I have had a series of horrid incidents and a very frustrating service experience with the agents & the dealer of Vespa Indy Italia. Give below are the details of the incident in chronological order.
- I placed an order by paying Rs. 5000/-, Receipt number 1813 with the Vespa dealers in Goregaon West on 24th March 2014 and they informed me that it will take about 4 weeks for the bike to arrive and in the meanwhile I could submit my documents for other proceedings of purchasing the scooter. I did as advised and submitted my photos and documents such as pancard, residential proof etc.
- Following this I visited the showroom thrice within 5 weeks but there was no information on the status of my order.
- The fourth time I visited, the showroom was shut and the new tenants in the property had advised me to visit the Bandra West Vespa showroom
- Again I did as advised to continue with my order but there was no update or followup from their end and the Bandra West showroom had no information on the payment I had made. I again visited them with the receipt and also 'watsapped' the advisors a copy of my receipt.
- Disappointed with their services, I asked for a refund of the Rs. 5000/- I had made. Ever since then, I have been continuously referred and 'passed on' to different consultants / advisors who kept promising me that the payment will be made. Given below are the contact numbers of all the agents in the Vespa showrooms that I have contacted.
- I informed the advisors that this was really appalling and that Vespa has international standards and reputation and they have comfortably managed to defamed it.
This is an urgent request and plea to please intervene in this matter at the earliest and ensure that my payment is refunded and there is also an additional compensation made to me for the mental stress, frustration and travelling and phone expenses occurred during the contact made for my refund. Also, please note, had I saved this money in a bank account or other investments I would have gained a profit of 8%-10% at the least. Attached are the receipts and letters submitted as reference documents.
