Complaint Details
I bought two salwar-kameezes and two sarees totalling some 20,000 rupees at the Paaneri annual end of season sale, on 06.07.2013. Bill Nos. 2021, 2022, 2023.

Imagine my surprise and embarrassment, when I wore one of the salwar kameezes for the first time on 17.11.2013 and the dark green colour bled onto the white embroidery and stained my underarms! And this just because I sweated normally! The stain didn't go even on scrubbing my skin vigorously.

Yes, Paaneri has stamped No Exchange / No Return on their bills; they have mentioned no guarantee for colour in their bills. But theirs is an old and respected brand. When someone buys something from them in good faith surely their products should be wearable!

I spoke to the store but as expected they threw their hands up and asked me to dry clean to ensure fastness of colour. But what about the embarrassment I suffered because the colour leaked at a wedding reception no less?! And how about putting in care and maintenance instructions on to clothes they do not guarantee?
