I had purchased Bajaj Majesty 15 GPU storage water heater in 2012. Recently, there was water leakage from the heater, hence I called customer
care on Aug 21, 2015 and submitted cservice request (Complaint No. 7550816). The technician from the service center visited on Aug 22, 2015 suggested tank
replacement a tank is under 5 year warranty, replacement will be free.
There after there was no actions for 2 weeks from service center irrespective of follow-up and eventually ticket was also cancelled. After new ticket (7641584-1)& escalation, technician visited with new tank on Sept 07, 2015 realizing that for 15 GPU tank cannot replaced, complete heater has to be replaced. He said that Electricals will call you and replace heater. No call from Bajaj Electricals till today. I wrote a mails to Bajaj Electricals, there is no response.
I had some issue with warranty card. I had lost the receipt and my warranty card was not stamped. So, before raising service request on Aug 21, 2015, I went to the shop from where I purchased the heater in 2012 and asked him to check records in 2012 and stamp the warranty card with date etc. I am not sure whether he really checked the records but stamped the warranty card with date as Aug 31, 2012. I have no option but trust & go with it. I clearly told the warranty issue to the technician. Rather technician told me that we can find year of manufacturing from serial number and determine whether the tank is under 5 years warranty or not. Hence warranty card does not matter.
