Complaint Details
I purchased your abovementioned product from CROMA, Phoenix Mills, lower Parel, Mumbai on 15.5.13.
In January,2014, the above machine started automatically winding up in the midst of its use. Hence, I lodged a complaint on 29.1.14 and the complaint number given to me was74909158.
Pursuant to the said complaint, your technician Mr. Devendra, visited our residence on Saturday, 8.2.14 and on inspection said that he is unable to repair the defect and that another technician Mr. Gangadhar, will be able to do it.
Thereafter, as nobody called back, I telephoned your Company and was informed by your operator to contact Senior technician Mr. Mohan Naik on his mobile no. 7498243392. I spoke to him and he said he will arrange for somebody to attend to the said complaint. As nobody came, I again called on your Company’s telephone no. 39883333 and complained to the operator. The said operator again assured me that somebody will come. Upon my request for the correspondence address of your Company, the said operator declined to give me the same.
Thereafter, after repeated reminders Mr. Gangadhar visited our residence on 5.4.14 and after checking the problem of winding cord, confirmed that the same will have to be replaced. Mr. Gangadhar thereafter visited my residence on 23.8.14 however, the part brought by him were not compatible and hence the problem could not be solved. I have sent email about these facts requesting for sending the compatible part to solve the problem.
On 27.9.14, Mr. Mohan Naik alongwith another technician visited my residence and repaired the Trendy Nano. However, again the auto winding cord started giving problem. Hence, I followed up again with Mr. Mohan Naik on 4.11.14 when he informed me that Mr. Gangadhar knows to repair the same and he will come but since he has fractured his hand he cannot come. On 3.12.14, Mr. Mohan Naik informed that he is not well and hence cannot come. On 7.2.15, Mr. Mohan Naik and Mr. Gangadhar visited our residence and repaired the Trendy Nano.
Thereafter, as the problem again surfaced, I contacted Mr. Mohan Naik who informed me that the part cannot be replaced as they have carried out the repair.
From the above it is clear that your abovesaid product purchased by me is a defective product as it has started giving problem before the warranty period and the efforts on the part of your technicians has only temporarily solved the problem.
I have sent further complaints on emails and received reply via facebook from your Company. However, I have only been given assurances with no concrete effective steps being taken to rectify the defect by replacing the defective part.
