I have purchased 18.5 inch LED Backlit Monitor of Compaq from Local Dealer.The Warranty of the product is for 3 years.I have purchased on 29.8.2014 from Spectra Computers,Jamnagar ( Phone No.2661937 ).There created a fault after 13 months of use.When approached the local dealer,no heed was paid to my complaint and asked me to lodge my complaint on Toll Free Number 1800-425-4999.The Company Hawlett Packard has left no space for Consumers to make On Line Complaint and On Toll Free number has placed talking Machine instead of an attendant.After two days' great labour, I could lodge my complaint on another Number : 1800-1122-67.My complaint number was 4003433379.After about 10 days of my complaint, the Unit was replaced by a person from Local Service Provider,but the Unit provided to me was second-hand and repaired one.It was also found defective.
Again I had to make an another complaint which has been registered under number : 4003503330.I have been given to understand that the Unit, even if replaced,will not be New One but only repaired Unit will be provided.
So far LED Monitors are concerned,the Unit has to be thrown into Baggage Basket because repaired piece hardly works properly.
I have issued E-mail to the Managing Director which remained unheeded,Simply Auto Gnerated reply was received.
