I bought a “La Opala” 15 pc dinner set from Best Price Store in Lucknow on 25th October 2105. The item was sealed packed and there was no provision of checking its integrity there. On opening it in my home, I found that several plates inside were shattered into pieces. I immediately called up the store and spoke to store manager called Ravi Mehrotra on 7388898025, who refused to take any responsibility. He kept on repeating that as wholesellers they can’t check every piece that they sell. I questioned him that if it was so, why wasn’t the customer given option to open and check the piece there and then? Nowhere in the crockery section, it was written that the customer has to buy it on his own risk. Niether the help girl at the counter nor the billing person told us to check the item. He had apparently no answer to this.

At Best Price, they don’t allow the crockery item to be checked there and then as it is sealed packed. And they won’t take the responsibility if it is found damaged. This is ridiculous and doesn’t make sense. No customer should ever buy any crockery from the Best Price if such are the terms and conditions.

Another silly point that the manager raised was that had it been a bulk purchase, he would have entertained me. Just because it is a single item, he won’t entertain. Can you explain why do you sell single items in that case? If you choose to sell something, you must owe some responsibility for the same.
Worst is that the “customer service” just doesn’t exist in Best Price. I wrote on their mail 'Support@bestpricewholesale.co.in' on 25th October. Forget replying, they haven’t even acknowledged the mail till date. Here is a company that keeps itself totally away from accountability – a point that needs to be kept in mind by all members who shop at Best Price.
