I gave a parcel for courier to Trackon courier franchisee located in Sadar, Meerut (UP) on 12 October 2015. He charged me Rs. 125 as courier charge which I paid. But after a week (19 october), my parcel returned back ‘undelivered’ excusing that they don’t have service in that area. Actually, the parcel was to be sent at-

When I asked the trackon franchisee person to refund my paid money (Rs. 125) as they were not able to deliver! But he simply refused in a bitter manner. He’s saying he won’t refund any amount.
I want to ask! Why? Why the company took my parcel when it knows it couldn’t deliver to that area! And what about my loss of a week that the company holded my parcel with itself? Why they’re not refunding my money?
I’m deceived. The question is not limited to just refund of Rs. 125, but the manner in which the courier company & their franchisee are looting. They should be heavily punished by fines.
I then gave my parcel to another company (DTDC courier, tracking no.Z69670570), who succesfuly delivered my parcel to its destination.
