Hi,I activated the data plan(2G) in my mobile through online portal of airtel last month and the plan was 2GB download limit and monthly rent of 199, everything went fine and couple of days later i got a message for internet settings for my mobile, I couldn’t download an application so I called 121 and specifically said that I took the 199 data plan and I am facing some issues, they helped me on that but never said anything about the activation of the plan, again after two weeks I received a message saying that my credit is reaching the limit, so I again called and again specifically asked whether this has to do anything with my data plan, the customer service executive said there is nothing to worry and said it might be a mistake from their part. Usually my monthly bill will be around 600 per month this time i got a bill of 1912.58 which includes data charges of 1188.50, when I called the customer care they said my data plan was not activated so I was charged 10 rupees per KB and insisted to pay the bill, I called airtel couple of times and conveyed my grievance but in vain customer executive promised a call back from concerned authority but I didn’t get any call. It was a case of total breach of trust from Airtel, I expect a quick action from the respected authority.
