I have received a fake mail in the name of Larsen & Toubro company for the purpose of Interview. An official letter was attached with the email giving the contact nos of the Recruiting manager of the concerned company .As per the terms of the email, the interviewer is supposed to make cash deposit of Rs 8450/- in the bank which will be refunded to us on the interview date (whether selected or not).

The interview was supposed to be conducted on 15th Dec 2015 at Lucknow office and the deposit amt was asked in name of security deposit as the cost of Air ticket will be borne by the company provided a security amt is deposited by the candidate which will be refunded on date of interview whether selected or not.

I have also deposited the said cash deposit of Rs 8450/- in the name of Mr. Arun Kumar having an bank accout in Punjab national bank, sardhana branch , meerut district , state- UP. They have also asked for other documents to be send along with Resume such as Photograph , PAN card and Aadhar Card (which has already been send by me)

When i was seraching the compnay head office address in google, to fill the admit card form send by them , i suddenly saw a link of Consumer Complaint against the fake mails received from L&T company. I immediately called the HO office in Mumbai to confirm the news ,and the employee replied that such are fake calls done on behalf of the company as the company does not ask any security amount from the Interviewee person.

I request the Authority to please seriously look in the above matter as alongwith money I have send my Identity documents and photo which may be Misused by the fraudulent person for unlawful activities. The mails and letter were so tactfully drafted and send that the first impression creates no doubt in the mind. I have all evidences to prove my complaint .

It seems to be a Racket run by group of individuals to defraud the jobseekers and earning money in name of big branded companies .
