Sir,
Sub: Dispute relating to Supply of Gas-reg.
I Mrs.Lalitha Pai having Gas Connection bearing consumer no.27602 being the consumer of Indane Gas of Indian Oil Corporation which have distributor at palluruthy named Vimal Gas, Palluruthy. We have the right to get 12 Cylinders per year under subsidy scheme of Central Government. In the previous year from April 2014 to March 2015 I have got only 8 Cylinders so shortage of 4 cylinders and current year from April-2015 to November-2015 I have got only 5 Cylinders. In present situation I can book the cylinders only through online IVRS number provided by the IOC, which I can used only after getting the booked cylinder and after 4 days of getting the same. This system makes delay in booking and getting new gas. At presently minimum of 45 days are taking to get the gas already booked. So in current year we will get only 8 cylinders instead of 12. So we lost the balance gas and subsidy which is our right. Even though the booking is made by us but there is a facility with distributor for either to cancel the same or make delay in the booking date by malpracticing in the software provided by IOC.

I have made several calls to Distributer in each and every month for getting the gas but neither had they taken the phone nor respond. Even if respond, then use rude and harsh words or pick the phone put down otherwise which cause mental harassment to me. If we go there directly then also they will not respond, but after more than three times direct interaction they will give a small slip in hand written and ask us to go to the godown and collect the gas. Thus the supply service is very poor or some even worse. There is no correct billing. Thus this shows reselling of the gas to unauthorised parties or in open market or hoarding of the same intentionally thus cause imbalance in demand and supply which gives more financial gain and conspiracy took place between the Distributer itself.

Now I am facing the problem of booking through online IVRS which have blocked by the distributor saying that I had got 2 Cylinders at a time. How can I get the same without bill. If got then making good of the same is rest with the distributor and it is his duty ensure correct supply. I being the customer shall get the gas of 12 cylinders per year and there no sequence of getting it. I am not in a position to take headache of shortage and other excuse because I have the routine work in my house without gas it is not possible to manage the same.

So I humbly request you to open the booking facility and make good the balance gas supply and also service portion at the earliest.
