Complaint Details
I have purchased the TV 32LV3730 in 2011 in 44640 rs. recently it failed to start. LG service person told its mother board has failed. When I asked for new mother board, Mr Dinesh Rajan from Banshankari service center told me that mother board is not available and I have to take a new TV from LG. My old TV will be depreciated. 44640/- rs TV will be depreciated to 6000+ rs and new TV model which I selected 32LF6300 will cost 41000+ (which is available in 33490/- rs) in market. When I asked him to send me calculations of depreciation, and new TV cost and the calculation of balance amount to be paid, he said it cannot be emailed or given in writing. If LG is doing honest business , there is no reason why they cannot sent me calculations. Their mother board failed and they are unable to give me a new one (even when I m ready to pay). The TV will go in scrap only if LG is not giving me proper price of this TV or provide me new mother board
