Complaint Details
I would like to bring the below mentioned event to your notice for your kind attention and necessary actions.
1) I had booked a ticket Jet Airways flight no 9W-356 dated 10th December, 2015. The flight was scheduled for departure from Delhi @ 19.15 hrs (Ticket Number- 5899648893632)
2) However the ground staff kept on delaying it by 4 hours giving very abrupt reasons as stated blow:
The flight had been diverted to Jaipur –Giving no reason why that has happened
@ 19.45 In fact Mr. Vaybha & Mr. Nikhil Sharma (Ground Staff) informed that Flight has landed, however there was no sign of it
They never announced the time of departure and kept on making all passengers waiting giving no information
Nobody was having any clue why the flight has delayed, there was something suspicious going on among the ground staffs
3) Finally after much delay we all passengers were boarded in the flight @ 9.30, however there was no sign of any pilot and we were forced to seat inside the flight for more than 1.5 hours without giving any concrete reason
4) The Pilot had no DGCA approval to fly. Post much deliberation the flight finally took off @ 11.30 hrs (4.15 hrs after the scheduled time)
Operational Issues:
After doing a web-check in and generating boarding pass- They changed my Seat no (From 17F to 22 B)- which was a non recliner seat. When I requested for a seat change and asked how can they change the allotted seat without my information, Mr Vybya and Mr. Nikhil Sharma misbehaved me and also went ahead to threaten me- What kind of Service is This?
It is very clear that the staffs are involved in some kind of malicious activity
Many of the tourists (Foreigners) had to move out post boarding due to the inappropriate delay in schedule- What Kind of Impression they would have on India?
How can an operator of such status are allowed to operate in such chaotic condition
Many passengers missed the connecting flights due to this
Had they inform about the delay @ 18.30 Hrs, we could have made some other arrangements? But the staff purposefully did not do that to avoid re-imbursement fees
One of the Airhostesses at the time of offering the Food asked me whether I would prefer Veg or Non-Vg, when I told that I would prefer Non-Veg, She refused to offer Non-Veg meal, then at the 1st place why she asked the choice. Are we paupers starving on that food? She was so unapologetic and blunt that I decided to avoid the food. Let you save also from that.
Due to the delay and no Food I had a severe stomach upset next Day. I
This was total failure of service Standards by all means.
I sincerely request you to urge JET-AIRWAYS to refund the amount to all the passengers for the inconvenience caused by their employees and take necessary action against them so that such events can be avoided in future.
